I know a lot of people that won't use it. I know a lot more people that do use it. i for one am a user. I play scabble, I check out what others are up to and I write a short story in my update. It's a great way to waste a bit of time.

The waste of time aspect of facebook is one reason a lot of people don't use it. There is so much on the site that you can do that you could easily spend all day everyday just surfing there. But there is a novelty factor attached to it. Yes you can, and yes you will for the first period you are on the site. But pretty soon the novelty fades, for some.

I personally lost interest in all of the games except scrabble and so facebook has become more of a check up on what people are doing. The problem for me is a lot of the people that I would like to see what they are up to and use facebook as a contact point are simply not on there. It can't be too long though. Facebook is very popular and there is an enormous amount of pressure from work mates, friends and to a lesser extent, family, to get on there.

I like facebook, but I can see why so many don't. There are a lot of 'fake' friends out there. Probably, to provide something questionable through to you like ashley greene dirty pic links or something or to offer free sex, 10 year old pussy, teen pussy or something along those lines. Best to ignore them because once they have you on the list it appears you get all of that stuff. Thankfully, the only thing I have been automatcially signed up for was a dating type group...my wife was not happy to see emails from potential suitors. It could have been worse, it could have been an email about free sex or 10 yeaor old pussy. Then I would have been in real trouble.
